Corneal cross linkage (C3R)
Corneal cross linkage (C3R) for keratoconus started first time in the valley in January 2014. More than a dozen eyes treated in first three months.
Corneal cross linkage (C3R) for treatment of early to moderate keratoconus using IORC machine imported from Switzerland was started first time in our valley at our centre in Jan 2014.
The treatment involves using Riboflavin (vitamin B2) with ultraviolet A (370nm) to stop progression of keratoconus.
More than a dozen eyes treated in first three months successfully.
